Did you know that...

Nintendo's 64-bit console, the Nintendo 64 was first released in Japan on June 23, 1996. Following the Japanese release, it was released in North America (United States and Canada) on September 29, 1996.

Release lag was common two decades ago, so In Europe and in Australia, the N64 was released in March 1, 1997. This was five months after the North American release!

Of course, Super Mario 64 was one of the launch titles in all markets.

And no, Luigi is NOT in Super Mario 64, but maybe it's like the X-Files - it's something you just want to believe.

One more thing, one of the SM64C web layouts had featured a spinning N64 logo due to my love for the console - and well, everyone loved animated GIFs on layouts back in 1998 and 1999.
