End the Bowser Kidnapping of Princess Peach

In almost every Mario game, Princess Peach ends up being captured by Bowser, and needs to be rescued. It's almost like a cliche. Seriously, it's time for this to end. Female gamers deserve something better.
For the next Mario game, Nintendo desperately needs to change the story up, and come up with a new plot. It's such a terrible message to young girls and women, that they need to be saved because Peach is seemingly such a weak character that can't help herself. She needs to fire her head of security and have an armed Toad brigade with her 24/7.
Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch was a great game, but the premise of the story was quite questionable, and I'm surprised that it hasn't been talked about that much on internet circles. A forced wedding in 2017? Are you serious? I'm not exactly a "feminist", but the kind of message that Nintendo games are sending is quite mysogynist. I'm not sure if it's just how they feel things are like, or that the story writers are just lazy and uncreative.
It's extraordinarily backwards for Nintendo to use a "forced wedding" as a game theme
Even the two Super Mario Galaxy games on the Wii, they could've gone in a different direction, but nope of course they had to have Peach kidnapped by Bowser as well. There were so many opportunities to make a great backstory since talking about outer space and the universe is limitless, but they just had to make that part of the story.
In Super Mario Sunshine on the GameCube, things seemingly were different on the surface, Mario was framed for vandalizing Isle Delfino. But of course, they just had to Peach ends up getting captured as well, supposedly because Bowser Jr. thinks that she's his mother. Ummm... it makes you roll your eyes when you think about it a little more!
Interestingly, Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U at least had a different premise where Peach was a playable character, which is nice for a change. But the story about the Sprixie fairies was a little lame, but at least you gotta hand it to them for trying.
I do remember in Paper Mario for the N64, Peach had a significant role despite being captured by Bowser, there was actually a side story where she is a playable character and can help him out, this is something more we should see more instead of her solely being a damsel-in-distress.
There are so many stories they could tell in a future Mario game, if it comes to Nintendo Switch. Remember Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins where we were introduced to greedy Wario? He took over Mario's castle, and boots him out. It would be nice to see a Wario storyline again. There's definitely more we can learn about Rosalina, the Lumas, and the cosmos. How about a new story involving his original foe Donkey Kong?
Don't get me wrong, I love Bowser as a character, he's more interesting than just being a mean green monster. Sometimes, he gives off a message that he isn't exactly that bad of a guy. But he and the rest of the Koopa Troop could pull some new shenanigans on Mario and the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom the next time around!
